JUNE 13, 2020 (SATURDAY) - Ice Cream Social at Bud & Beverly Ripple's home, 879 Cash Spring Road, Ozark, Mo. Bud & Beverly Ripple hosted this event last year and did a wonderful job. The event will begin at 1 pm with a club meeting to follow. Please bring toppings of your choice and cookies or other items to compliment the ice cream. Please bring your lawn chairs.
JULY 11, 2020 (SATURDAY) - UPDATE: Tour Master Larry Walton has informed us that rather than trying to guess how many people will be showing up for the tour and therefore how many catered luches we will need; we will be going up Main Street a few blocks and dining at Montana Mike's Steakhouse. They have a meeting area we can use. Coleman Theatre, 103 N. Main St, Miami, Ok. This theater was opened in 1929 and is on old Route 66. There will be a tour of approximately 1 hr starting at 11:30 am. A meeting will follow the lunch. Cost for the tour be $10. The "Mighty Wurlitzer" pipe organ was purchased in 1938 for $35K and is the only one made in 1928 that is still in its original location. Our member, Louis "Red" Mathia, was a former mayor of Miami, Ok. The NE Okla. Club has been invited to participate.
AUGUST 16, 2020 (SUNDAY) - Roaring River State Park Hamburger Cookout, 12716 County Road, Cassville, Mo. *Noon to 4 pm*. This even was rolled back to the 3rd Sunday of the month which will be the weekend after the International Meet. The hamburgers, hot dogs and buns will be furnished. Everyone bring something to go with them: chips, dip, baked beans, desserts, etc.
SEPTEMBER 11 - 12, 2020 (Friday, Saturday) Angel Inn, 3311 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson, Missouri Call or email Gary Sanders for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org - (417) 569-3866 The Ozark Trails Chapter along with The Heart of America Chapter will be hosting the 25th Annual Orphan Car Show and the Upper Mississippi Valley Zone Gathering in Branson, Missouri on September 10-12, 2020. We are planning a driving tour on Thursday, September 10th for those that would like to take part. There will be a dinner on Saturday night at a location to be named later. Friday will include our normal activities, painting class in the afternoon and our live band performance on Friday. Saturday will feature the valve cover races, Saturday morning and a cark making class Saturday afternoon and the dinner mentioned above.
